ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Hope. I am a professional ballet dancer, instructor and choreographer. Born in Taiwan, I studied with Chiou-O Chiang and completed my training with Ballet West Academy, Royal Danish Ballet, Estonian National Ballet and The Royal Ballet Summer School. After graduating from Taipei National University of the Arts with a Fine Arts degree in Dance and Dance Education, I performed with several dance companies internationally before moving to New York City. Since then I have performed with New York Theatre Ballet, Ballet des Amerique, Ballet Deviare, Upstate NY Ballet, Ballet for Young Audiences, Jersey City Ballet and Lydia Johnson Dance Company among others. Currently I am a freelance artist living and working in New York City. As a dedicated ballet teacher with over twenty years of experience teaching classical ballet to children, teens and adults, I am certified in the following teaching methods:

I am an enthusiastic teacher who currently teaches throughout the tri-state area and relishes the opportunity to introduce ballet to anyone who wants to learn more about it.  My other interests include vegan cooking, traveling and volunteering at animal sanctuaries in Upstate NY.
